Training for Rural Development in Bangladesh A Study on the Role of TTDC

Dr . M Asaduzzaman was a distinguished and leading professor of public administration in the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before his sudden death on March 28, 2008 he served as the Chairman of Bangladesh University Grants Commission, Chairman of the Department of Public Administration, DU, elected Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, DU for consecutive four times,member of senate and syndicate, President of Dhaka University Teacher’s Asssociation. He was a senior Fulbright scholar and attended several higher education management programs in many western universities. He also taught at different overseas universities as visiting professor.
