Community Participation Approaches for Network Governance: A Theoretical View
Abstract
<p style="text-align: justify;"><em>This article discusses the recent theoretical debate on community participation policy debate within the context of network governance. It attempts to bring out the different views of critiques on how the state has captured community participation as social capital in its policy discourse. The paper illustrates the weakness of existing interpretations on why the community developments fail. The article is based on the finding of the secondary data available on this discourse. </em></p>
